長井さん殺害に抗議する会が講演
ミャンマー軍押収 取材テープ返還求める
昨年９月、ミャンマーで反政府デモを取材中に射殺された映像ジャーナリスト、長井健司さんと親交のあった報道関係者らでつくる「ミャンマー軍による長井さん殺害に抗議する会」が１５日夜、福岡市博多区の大博多ホールで講演会を開いた。
同会は昨年１０月に発足。長井さんが持っていたビデオカメラとテープはミャンマー軍事政権に押収されたとみられるため返還を求め続けており、全国各地で講演会を開いたり、署名活動を行ったりしている。
講演会では、長井さんがミャンマーやイラクなどで撮影した映像を上映した後、宗教学者の島田裕巳さんが講演した＝写真＝。長井さんの葬儀で在日ミャンマー人が「自分たちのために死んでくれた」と涙を流したことを紹介し、「仏教国・ミャンマーの人たちは長井さんを釈迦の生まれ変わりと考えているのではないか」と語った。その上で「いざ現場となると最前線に立ち、『自分の命はどうなっても構わない』と考える人だった」と評した。

I must say, as a lot as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while. Its as if you had a fantastic grasp around the topic matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so much. Its better if you think about what others may have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction to the subject. Think about adjusting your very own believed process and giving others who may read this the benefit of the doubt.
