ミャンマー政府は長井さんの死亡を流れ弾に当たったと説明し、
事実を闇に葬り去ろうとしていたが、このスクープ映像が故意に銃撃された事実を立証し、
ミャンマー政府の虚偽と残虐性を暴いた。
言論弾圧の厳しいミャンマーにおいて、反政府デモの情報を事前に察知し、
周到な準備のもと撮影したこの決定的な映像は、
各国メディアが報じ、全世界に衝撃を与えた。
