ミャンマー：昨年９月のデモで僧侶４人にも厳刑
　【バンコク藤田悟】ミャンマーの特別法廷は１８日、中心都市ヤンゴンで昨年９月に起きた大規模デモを主導した僧侶４人に禁固３５～９年の刑を言い渡した。
　一連の裁判は、ヤンゴンなどの刑務所内で、弁護士や家族の立ち会いが許可されない「秘密法廷」の形で行われ、これまでに民主化活動家ら７０人以上に最高で禁固６５年の刑が下されている。国連人権理事会のキンタナ特別報告者らは１８日、「不公正な裁判であり、公開の法廷で審理をやり直すべきだ」との声明を発表した。
