ミャンマー（ビルマ）で反政府デモを取材していたジャーナリストの長井健司さんが銃弾に倒れて丸３年の２７日、東京・渋谷のイベントスペースで、「追悼
長井健司記者 映像・遺品展」が開かれた。撃たれた時にバッグに入れていたサブのカメラや、愛用の品、所属していたＡＰＦ通信社に今も置かれている机などが展示された。同展は１０月１日～３日にも開かれる。入場料５００円。問い合わせは同通信社（０３・５５７４・７３０１）へ。

Political leaders and central banks round the planet have done everything they can to prop up failed banks, and loans that was imprudent from the start. We will not have a proper self sustaining recovery without an end to deficit spending and lots of financial institutions going bust. I find discussion about mortgage finance and loans a bit meaningless. I also think the home prices have to reduce a lot even now. I mean why would you want to own a home in the US or the UK?
