一連の検察不祥事とマスコミ不審から“民主主義の危機”を訴える市民らが立ち上げた「権力とマスコミの横暴に抵抗する国民の会」は24日、都内で「検察・検審の横暴を許すな！」と題するデモを行い、全国から市民ら約1000人が参加した。
水谷橋公園を出発した参加者らは、「検察と特捜の横暴を許すな」「検察審査会は情報公開を」などと書かれたプラカードを掲げ、「検察とマスコミは真っ黒だ」などとシュプレヒコールを上げながら、日比谷公園までの約3キロをデモ行進した。
冒頭のインタビューに登場する方々は、順番に、矢野健一郎さん（権力とマスコミの横暴に抵抗する国民の会・実行委員長）、徳根和幸さん（一般参加者）、二見伸明さん（元運輸大臣）。
