そのとき、心の支えとなったある人言葉、「あなたは必ず生きて帰ってくる」。
ある人とは、手相観の日笠雅水さん。
ふたりは、ツイッターで知り合い、ビルマへ向かう直前に、都内のAPF通信社で初めて出会った。
山路の手相を見た日笠さんの第一声が先述の言葉だった。
その言葉通り、山路は、拘束から3日後に解放され、無事帰国した。
