多くの仲間を失った学生たちは、隣国タイとの国境地帯へ避難し
ＡＢＳＤＦ（＝全ビルマ学生民主戦線）を結成、
現在もビルマの軍事政権打倒を叫び闘っています。

1989年、山路徹が家庭用小型ビデオカメラで初めて
取材した現場だからです。
当時、テレビ局の技術部門は画質の低さにクレームをつけ、
